Note3 screen gone black

My Note3 screen has gone black. Tried taking the battery off and restarting. The sounds activate as if it has restarted but screen still black. bottom buttons lighten up but screen still black. Any ideas?

Sounds like a loose wire to me. But try a factory reset before you try to send it in for repairs. You can do a factory reset by Powering off then holding down the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time.
