I wish I knew mine was coming on the 7th. Whenever you feel bad about it, just think of poor little me. Still with no tracking info from UPS, very near the 2nd business day now- when it said it was supposed to be delivered. Looking doubtful at this point.

I got my Note 8 today luckily just as I was getting home from work, thank you UPS guy for remembering me! I had trouble self activating it but it's up and running and now I'm just logging into my various accounts and checking my apps from the google store. I have Sprint, and even though they didn't give me any kind of discount I am happy to get the phone this early.
Also registered for my 360 camera since I already bought a wireless charger last year for my Note 7, and had no need for a second one. Now I just need a case.

UPS finally figured out that it's their tracking number, generated in Indiana... but my phone hasn't been picked up yet.
But I got overnight shipping so I'll do tomorrow's work today and have tomorrow to play with my new girl!

Samsung removed the tracking number and TRACK button from their website, but I entered the tracking number in the UPS site and finally got some information. My phone is waiting to be picked up in Indiana, too. Whateva, Dionna. Why you gotta rub our noses in that? You don't even know the heart wrenching pain we are in right now until we get our Note 8.
I'm trying to put my fingers in my ears and stick my tongue out at you. Or is that what you are doing to us? Again, whateva Dionna. I know, I'm being childish, but I totally feel like a kid on Christmas Eve and your parents actually let you open presents on Christmas Eve and I have to wait until the next day. You are standing at the window and showing me your present, while I try to think of ways to open mine without anyone knowing (or break yours). It is just that serious. LOL/JK

Sorry, been kind of hectic living here in florida with this whole cat 5 hurricane fiasco. anyways i received my phone as of yesterday. mine came in via UPS. i ordered the grey one. i also lucked out and my UAG protective case came yesterday as well !!!
my first thoughts beautiful phone !! im however trying to readjust to having no physical home button. also the screen is slightly curved on the sides, which im not used to coming from the note 4. either way im happy to have it, and sadly have hadvery minimum time available to play with this thing. i also am very happy to add that the battery so far for being an new one is holding out great ! compared to once again my note 4 having to be charged 3 to 4 times a day lol.
I'll try and get some pics later on to share with everyone ! hopefully everyone else gets theirs soon too.

Congratulations! I'm glad the rumor about unlocked phones not being shipped until October 1st was false. My shipment has already arrived in Sacramento, CA and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow morning.
@WeeWilly we're having some very untimely... "technical difficulties" with the forum. A lot of the threads got dumped into the general Android Devices forum, as there was a bit of confusion between our forum and the old Note 8.0 forum. Please be patient and know the Powers That Be are working on it.
Meanwhile, my Note 8 is sitting at FedEx in Nashville, an hour away... and I'll have it in the morning!

So yours is being delivered by FedEx after all? Interesting. Mine is definitely still being delivered by UPS. Sometime between noon and 4:00 tomorrow is all I know so I will be leaving work early. I feel a stomach virus coming on! LOL! So glad I don't really have to offer fake excuses.
