it may be a shipping thread, I GOT A SEARING DESIRE TO KNOW IF IN FACT the extra ram on the note 8 will show some sort of performance boost.

I have a oneplus 5 with 8GB ram and it has made an enormous difference with android pay, android auto, so yes, I'm sure the 6GB on the new Note will be a great improvement over the failed Note 7...
 
Im so not happy with at&t!!! Ordered mine as soon as ordering was available at midnight and there are ppl that ordered on the 26th that have tracking numbers?? It's safe to say at&t is not organized! I will be taking my 8 phone lines, 2 tablets and a smart watch, along with my internet and direct tv accounts and I will be closing these accounts out this year and going prepaid! Tired of dealing with the crap!! No loyalty from at&t at all! I spend way too much money ($800+ monthly) ! This is not the only issue I have problems with them on! Not really happy with their deals and their pricing is getting to be way too much! They doesn't order any kind of discount what so ever, really!

I, like you, was an AT&T for years, and left for T-mobile and they have been the best... Good luck...
 
This morning I received notices that everything in my order from Samsung has been shipped via UPS. Since today is a holiday in the US, I imagine UPS will pick up the order tomorrow morning.
 
I got my shipment notification 2 days ago. But there is still no info on UPS tracking. I assume because of the Sunday and Holiday today. But I dont see how itll get here by the 5th. If its 2 business days it looks more like the 7th I guess.

IF YOU HAVE A MYUPS ACCT, LOOK UNDER CALENDAR VIEW ON UPS. AND IT ALWAYS SHOWS IN CALENDAR VIEW. and yes due to holiday, nothings updated until after midnight.

Nope. They are already shipping earlier than expected. We weren't even due that much. We knew we were not going to get our phones on the holiday weekend anyway.
 
I pre ordered on the 26th because I had to wait for my old Note 7 upgrade to go back on my account and I got a shipping notice for the phone on Aug 30. So far the UPS tracking says I'm going to get my phone tomorrow Sept 5. I'm very surprised some of the carriers are sending the phone out a week early.
 
Pre-ordered from Verizon and have a tracking mumber that says it will be here by 1030 am on sept 5th. Tomorrow morning.

Very happy now I was expecting it on the 14th.
 
NO NO NO!!!! Just looked up my ups account..... Bastards just changed the delivery date!!!! WTF

I just called FedEx and requested they hold my package at the center here in San Diego for me to pickup rather than delivering it which could be as late in the day as 3pm. Now I can be at their center when they open at 9am and have my N8 in my hands shortly thereafter! :D
