Notebook to android to projector?

My school's technology is a little backwards. I have to move my computer to the front of the class, plug the projector's hdmi cable into the computer and wait. My ultimate objective is to leave my computer on my desk (front area is too crowded, and an accident waiting to happen) and control the presentations via my android mobile phone. The projector is mounted to the ceiling. It is a Sony XGA with an hdmi, vga, usb and network ports. I would like to connect an android tablet to the projector (leave it up there permanently - hopefully the usb port can keep the tablet charged and then transfer ppt files, videos, etc by wifi from my notebook to the tablet and then control the app via my android phone. Can this be done?

I knoww that NitroShare can transfer the files.

What I don't know how to accomplish is the ability to control other devices with your phone.
It probably is possible, somehow, with certain devices, but it is more simple if you remove 'the middlemen'- just like everything else.

If you had the files on the phone, and sent them directly to the projector, then the phone is already in control.

Casting apps should be able to accomplish this.

NitroShare will easilly transfer files back and forth from these sevices (I use it all the time).

A casting app that may work for you...
