Notes app that syncs with Dropbox

[deltaforce]

Hello folks,

Yet another question on this topic.

Looking for a Notes app that syncs data with Dropbox. Nothing fancy needed, just plain old text notes, but Dropbox sync is a must. DS forced me to format my phone twice and lost all notes in the process.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Maybe https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.sephiroth.inotes&hl=en-GB

Or you could use Google Keep to sync to your google account. Or Springpad....

Thanks,

I noticed that this app requires full access to Dropbox, hence dropped from the short list.

Re: Google Keep, I tried twice but never clearly understood where/how it syncs the notes. The interface I find awful.
Never used SpringPad (I don't have data on my phone, in case if it needs that).

An app that uses Dropbox will always require access to Dropbox.

Right, but the app mentioned by the previous posted asks for a permission to access 'everything' in Dropbox.

Using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saelimbilly.genericdatabaseapp, From what I understood, it only accesses its own folder.

I agree. I installed it and was presented with a dropbox screen asking if I would grant permission for the app to access the "minutes" folder.

What phone do you have? The stock Samsung Memo app actually syncs to Google Drive.

If you don't have data, then you won't be able to sync to Dropbox either. There are lot's of cloud based note taking apps that wouldn't require Dropbox. I also use Springpad. I haven't used Keep, but it should sync everything you add to it. There's a web interface at http://keep.google.com/keep/
