Can't afford the Note 4??

I can afford anything I want. That doesn't mean I will spend $700+ on something that provides me with very very little value and benefit over what I have. I call that "wasting money."

Any other questions?

What's a vampire display?

Power sucking, performance hurting and weak contrast. Pure evil IMO :)

For light users though with less screen on time, no harm no foul. That BTW fits the general usage of most consumers- hence LG putting an older tech display in the G3 in the first place.

Yes, are you saying that purchasing a Note 4 is a waste of money? That's your position?

Yes. I own a Note 3 already.

If you have a worse phone, then the Note 4 is better option.

Coming from the Note 3, it's a whole lotta money for not a lotta gain, IMHO.

I really like the Note 3......

Seems unlikely I will pay full price for the Note 4, but if I can get a new Note 3 for $500, I might get that. Main reason is wanting the bigger display, but $500 verses $800 means $300 can go to something else:

1. Destiny for PS3
2. Space 1999 Blu ray Season 1 collection
3. A couple Vita games
4. Pixies new CD
5. A night of fine dining (not too fine)
6. New pair of reasonably priced jogging shoes (calling them running shoes would be a lie)

$600 for the a Note 3 isn't bad. It is as swift in performance as the HTC One M8 I'm testing right now. Having access to that handset right now has made me feel very good about going with the Note 3.

If I replace the Note 3 with anything, it'll be an iPhone 6. And then I'll keep the M8 on the side as a PMP/Side Project device.
