Help Nothing will save to microSD card?

Hello

I am using a Huawei Ascend Y550 and it's only saving stuff to the micro SD card for a few minutes before the files become inaccessible.

After a short while, photos become grey, inaccessible thumbnails, sound recordings aren't recognised, and music I've downloaded for offline via Spotify just disappears.

I tried using another SD card that I had but it seems to do the same thing.

Do you know anything I could try to resolve this issue and get the phone saving to the micro SD card permanently again?

Thank you

Download this app to ensure you have a genuine SD Card & not a counterfeit:

Hi, thank you for reply.

I installed the app and it says SD card is invalid. Any idea what's going on here; have I been sold an invalid card or could there be another explanation?

Thanks, David.

This is from SD Insight's FAQ
After I run SD Insight to check my card, I see the message “SD Card is INVALID”. What does this mean?

The manufacturer data that the SD Insight app has returned for your SD card shows that the SD card is likely fake. The manufacturer data has been incorrectly specified on the SD card, or not specified at all.

Yes, you should seek reimbursement. Can't vouch for the link, sorry. I can't recommend anywhere as I haven't bought an SD card in a long time.
