NOtificaion LED kicking my tail

Long story, but I just got a t959v Galaxy S 4g and am having to learn all the little differences between 2.1 on my old cliq and 2.2 on this thing. The lack of camflash is hte only gripe I really have for the moment.

Anyway, I have googled the heck out of this question, and keep getting threads about the wrong stuff.....

Where do I go to change the setting that tells my phone to use the notification LED?

I don't care about color, I just want it to light up when I have a missed call, sms, email, etc.
 
Its not a standard feature. Its just something Motorola added to the Cliq. Anyway, you can use Lightflow, or you can use apps that have their own settings. Go SMS Pro for instance allows you to configure its LED alert configuration.
 
But if the phone has a notification light built in, shouldn't it just work? Maybe something is wrong with the device. Lightflow will let you customize your notifications, but I think he's saying it doesn't work at all.
 
Wait, I just remembered. How different is the Galaxy S 4G from the international Galaxy S? because the international Galaxy S does not have any notification LED in the first place.
 
I cannot believe how nice to have a notification LED. You really dont realize how much you reply on it until you dont have it
