Help Notification/alert flashing light

Is there any way to turn this light/function off? During the day it is no problem, however, once I go to bed... it is annoying. I can change my alarm and face the phone down but I would rather not. I know there must be something in settings but I can't find it.

You could try light flow. It allows you to shut down notifications between x & y hours.

I want to try tasker myself. In this case, I like Lightflow. It does one thing and does it very well, notifications.

I use a free app/widget called Notification Light Widget. It looks just like the power widgets that are stock on our phones and you can place it on any of your screens for quick access.
