Notification app

Do you know of any app that will show the # of notifications on an app like Twitter?

Like on iOS with the little # on top of the app/widget that shows mentions or something.

I would like it for the official Twitter app.

I am looking for the same thing aswell so i hope its out there.

On my ipod touch it makes a noise when i get a notification etc and this works when the phone is locked aswell. I wonder why it doesnt do the same thing with the andriod app?

On my samsung galaxy s2 i get a phone notification but it doesnt come up when the phone is locked so i only find out when i unlock the phone to use it for something

I get notifications mainly because I use tweetdeck for twitter, facebook and foursquare. I get a notification sound (I made it the sound of tweeting birds LOL) whenever I have twitter, facebook or foursquare notifications.

I use GO Launcher EX Notification but, as with ADWnotifier up there, you need to have the respective launcher installed for either of them to work.

Well for the homepage yes. But it works with Widgetlocker like I said on the stock Sense UI. I just wake my phone and the apps I use the most show the most info I need.

Are there any notifier apps for the lock screen, showing how many calls, SMS, emails, voice messages left?

Yes, SMS unread count, or Missed It!. You'd need third party lockscreens like Widgetlocker, Agile Lock, Ripple Lock, etc. that supports widgets though. Or the Sense 3.0 Lockscreen.
