Notification area. New message

Hi all
In the notification area (when u drag it down)
It tells me I have new message, or 2 new messages, but even when I open them
it remains..i HAVE to press clear

the handcent notificaoin can disappear when I see it, but the default messaging doesn't.

Als,o both the default and hancent always notify me of messages

Can I fix this?

Go to your original text messaging service and turn off notifications. It is not turning off because you are only checking through handcent. The other messaging service still sees the texts as unread.
 
I have a wierder question, dont wanan open a thread for it

how many gold dots does ur nexus have at the bottom

I see three, the last one is empty, dono if its like that or if one fell out (whatever they're used for)
I'm being paranoid!
 
This is probably a stupid question but I'm a newbie so I thought I would ask. On the facebook application is there a way for the app to notify you when you have a message? Currently right now facebook notifies my email (gmail) which in turn notifies me. I would like the facebook application to notify me instead of it going thru gmail. Thank You
 
Yes. In the facebook app, press menu, choose home, then menu again - you should now have a settings menu....
