Notification Bar Ads

[Opivyattack]

I keep getting notification bar ads and I can't figure out why. I've installed airpush and it doesn't find anything so I tend to think it's not related to an airpush app. Is there some other type of technology that pushes notification ads? It's always some green smiley face that looks like a chat bubble and it seems to always advertise games. I also just had my CC hacked yesterday so I don't know if this is related. I thought, hey maybe somehow I got a virus since it's not airpush. I installed lookout and it didn't find anything either. Last idea I have is to reformat everything and start over but that's too much hassle if anyone has a better idea. Anyone else experience this? What can I do. Thanks!

Try addons detector. It works better than airpush detector.

LookOut has also a detector for AirPush & Co and more ...
'Ad Network Detector', free in Market.

Hi,

I'm also having this issue.

Green smiley face ad notification for games.

I tried airpush, addon detector, lookout, every ad finder app I could, but with no avail.

I'm still getting this annoying f*cking ad notification!

The most recent notification was for some mafia game.

Not sure if you can get a virus by installing 3rd party (cracked) apps from the internet... I really don't want to format my phone cuz of this bs.

Anyone know if this could be a virus as no app will detect any push notifications?

Cracked apps? Well you should think of those as having a virus. That's like expected of them anyway.

I use an app called AdFree, it stops all ads.
