Help Notification LED

Just wondering if anyone has found a way to change the settings for the notification LED for Email and missed calls.

For SMS and Gmail I've found solutions (Handcent and GMail notifier), however particularly for the Moto email client I would like to be able to customise the notifcation light.

I get a flashing green light as default...

Any thoughts?

There's an app on the market called Blink. I've not tried it, but it lets you customise the LED notification light.

edit...and its free!

I've tried it and it didn't seem to work on mine, I do not get any led notifications if I have this running, except for Gmail (which isn't done by Blink).

Didn't work for me.

I tried it for the calendar and default email app notifications and nothing. Had the accessibility permission turned on and settings all looked fine but no notification lights at all.

Test didn't do anything either.

Odd its working just fine for me.
Even flashes blue when I don't have a signal.

I've set each notification a different priority message =1 , missed call =2 and so on...and set the mode to medium (i.e. not priority) and this works for me. This may sound daft but are you remembering the LED only comes on when the screen is off?
Another thing I should mention is, besides root, and tasker, I'm completely stock at the moment. I used the lite version when I had a bunch of other apps installed, although I've never used any mail/message/dialer substitutes (i.e. Handcent) maybe something is interfering with it?

Test mode doesn't work at all either.

Even having the app enabled kills any and all led notifications...

Very odd.

Very strange indeed, I'd pause any other applications using the LED. And see if that helps? When i get a chance I'll get a pic of it up to prove I'm not winding you up. Test mode should definitely work though, just flick it on and switch the screen off.

I believe you, don't worry :)

Using GMail Notifier and Handcent SMS, both of which manipulate the LED in some fashion..

I'll try doing something about both of them later and see if it works.

I brought the light flow to test it out (a whole $1), works fine for Gmail and Twitter notifications. Noticed that nothing happened with a calander notification today but that might be because it ended up turning off before I checked the phone. I mainly wanted it for Gmail, Twitter and SMS, so now waiting on getting an SMS :D

Thanks for the recommendation
