Help Notification Light Interpretation

easy_e

Newbie
Does anyone know all of the notification light signals?

So far I got:

Solid Red: Charging
Solid Green: Fully Charged
Blinking Red: New Email
Blinking Green: New Text

Anyone have any more or any corrections to what I think the lights mean?

Thanks!

DincMT,

Thanks for the heads up. I found the Light Flow Lite app on the andriod market. The app let you control the notification light's color and duration for the type of notification. There is no blue color so all the colors available are what can be made from green and red.

The notifications are broken up into categories:

Contact (i.e. add a specific contact)
Phone and Calendar Events (e.g. Calendar Reminders)
Mail and Messaging Apps (e.g. Yahoo Mail)
System Events (e.g. Low Battery)
Social Apps (e.g. Google Talk)
Miscellaneous Apps (e.g. Ebay)

My Triumph is rooted, but the Light Flow Lite app should work on non-rooted phones as well.

Regards,

I'm color blind, so it always looks red. Wish they could have used blue, maybe blue & white. I remember an old Samsung phone that could flash red/blue/white and maybe yellow too, it would do it all at once like a rainbow effect.

The red light looks kinda lame if you ask me, but not a big deal. And manufactures everywhere need to cut it out with this red/green thing, something like 15% of the male population has a hard time with these. And for the record, I do see red, and I do see green, but LED colors, and tints can sometimes be confusing.
