Notification Light , only lasts a minute?

My notification light comes comes on as it should , but only blinks for maybe two minutes then stops. Is there any way to have it stay on untill you check ( like on all my other phones i have had ? Thanks
 
no, I believe this is just the way the Hero's set up. It blinks for a little while, then shuts off. Not real sure why they decided to program it that way, but it wouldn't surprise me if there's an app (or a ROM) that allows you to change the setting.
 
You can set it so that if you don't check a text message within 5 minutes, it will blink for you a second time. There may be more options there, too, but I set mine up a while ago and forget all the choices there were.
 
install the Missed Reminder app from the market. It's free and totally customizable for different kinds of alerts.
