Notification not working on ONE message

Running Adroid 12 on my Pixel 5. I get notifications an all my text messages EXCEPT for one. This is a two factor authorization for a financial institution. I get the text, but never hear the notification. Why only this one? Any suggestions ideas? I received several before and after this one and notified for all of them.

Is the bank setup in your contacts? Does it have an app that you can use instead and rely on the apps notification instead?

It does have an app and I can use it. However, there are times I prefer using my laptop and I don't understand why when they send me a text, my phone doesn'r notify me with the notification sound that works on ALL other text messages.

is it the same number? if so try adding it to your contacts and see if that works.
