Help Notification Panel Gone! HELP ME!

Hi,

Whilst this isn't the biggest problem, it is quite annoying!

My samsung galaxy s5 decided to turn itslef off, and when it rebooted in the notification panel there was only the screen brightness adjustment, no wifi/mobile data/ screen rotation etc.

I tried going into settings - notification panel, but it keeps crashing.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

Sounds more like the phone shut off in the middle of something and corrupted your config settings. I'd try a couple of things. First, wipe the system cache from recovery. With the phone off, press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power keys at the same time until it boots into recovery. Use the vol. kets to highlight the wipe cache partition option and then press power. It should only take a few seconds to finish and then reboot your phone.

If that doesn't fix it, then you'll want to go to menu>settings>applications and clear data from the app that controls the panel. I *think* it would be touchwiz but i can't be sure. Be advised, if you do that it will reset EVERYTHING in touchwiz like all your home screen settings and shortcuts, widgets, etc.
