I recently received my first "smart phone" after envying my sister's Iphone for a couple of years. I have an Alcatel Tribe OT-981A, which is an Android. I am still getting used to it and so far, so good, but recently (I've only had the phone less than a week) the notification panel stopped coming down from the status bar. I liked that feature, but now it has stopped working. I can still access my notification panel through the menu, but I am afraid that if this is something wrong with the phone, it might indicate worse things to come. I called both Alcatel and my carrier tech lines, but they couldn't help me. I am going to take it to one of my carriers stores, but before I do that, I am wondering if I somehow turned that feature off. Anyone else have this problem?
