notification panel problem

Hi,

I am hoping if someone can help me on this. I have a xperia z which have been using for almost a year. Since yesterday i am not able to pull down the notification panel from the centre part uptill the right part. But when i pull it down from the left part it comes down. I tried everything possible *#*#7378423#*#* wherein you can check the touch. But when i keep that side of the screen pressed it allows me. Plz help.

Does your device have the Diagnostics app installed? If so, does the Touchscreen test show an even response across the entire display area?

I Installed the app and checked. It isnt showing any lines on the top centre and right part of the screen. I really cant figure out the problem.

The touchscreen itself (the digitiser) appears to be faulty. As this should be covered under warranty I advise contacting the retailer you purchased it from for advice on how to get it serviced.
