Notification reminders

Ok I am curious. Is there anything simple out there to get notification reminders? I know handcent offers them but I wanted to use the messaging that came with the phone. Any suggestions?
 
I know there are simpler solutions out there, but I'm using Tasker, and the Missed Notification Reminder profiles from the Tasker Wiki. It's not simple, especially if you're not familiar with Tasker, but you can make it do virtually anything you want.

For example, I have reminders for notifications of missed calls, Google Voice, Gmail, SMS/MMS, and Calendar. This reminder (a single reminder for all of these apps) repeats every 10 minutes. I also have a reminder that repeats every 2 minutes for missed calls or unread SMS from my immediate family.

I'm also thinking about adding an always-audible (regardless of volume or silent mode settings) for certain situations, like when one of my kids is at an event (on my calendar) and I receive/miss an SMS from them (likely meaning they need to be picked up early, or are riding home with someone else and I don't have to go get them).

Baums, did you find anything? Uncle Mike, no disrespect, but something simple would be great. ;)

baums last sign on was september 28th 2011, so i doubt he will answer this question

i think the answer to your question would be what uncle mike suggested
