notification sound

[clbarham]

Hi, I am new to this site looking for an answer on how to download something. I have a samsung galaxy nexus and I dont really like any of the stock ringtones and notification sounds. I used to have a samsung droid charge and I wish I could get some of the stock sounds off of it but I dont have anyone around that has that phone anymore. Any suggestions on where i can find those sounds to download to my phone?

Welcome to the forums clbarham, glad to have you here

First off with something like Ringtone Maker you can make any songs you put onto your device into a ringtone. You can edit any part of the track or just make the whole song your ringtone.

Also you can check out some of these apps that offer new notification sounds for your device: Notification Sound apps

Hope this helps and thanks for joining

Thanks, I downloaded and paid for the droid notification app but that still is not what I'm looking for. I specifically am looking for the tweeter stock notification sound from the droid charge.

Well you might have to just go through Notification sound apps until you find something.

Or get someone to give you the MP3 containing that sound then put it on your device.

You might wanna check over @ your device's area of discussion. Maybe someone there might be able to assist you further.
