Help notification sounds changing by themself

anyone have a problem with notification sounds changing on their own? it seems that every once in a while my notifications will switch and its always to the same songs by don henley and blind guardian (lol). no one else is doing it and i havent been able to pinpoint a certain app or update that has caused this. my gmail notifications, handcent, and k-9 notifications have all changed at some point to songs from my sd card. i have ringdroid, Lite Profiles, and rings extended installed.
 
Greetings. These are mp3s on your sd card, yes?

Are you updating them or changing them in any way? The sooounds they are supposed to be... are they mp3s as well?

This happens to me when I am copying over to a larger storage card. This is why I ask.
 
i dont change or move the notification sounds i select. they are on the internal memory in a separate directory
