Help notification sounds email and text

Im looking to change notification sounds for my gmail only. On my X i had different sounds so when i recieved an email i knew it. It looks like the feature is gone now. Right now the only way i can set it up is the same sound for texts and emails. This is driving me nuts.

And im just looking for a way to manage sounds. I dont want a new sms app to use for texting over the stock app.

here's what i did, i set the main phone notification tone to what i want to hear for email, then opened text messaging app, hit settings and selected the tone i want for text. now my phone says "you have an email" when i get an email, and "you have a text message" when i get a text. you don't need a different text app. only problem with this is that it also uses the email alert for calender notifications too. not a big deal to me.

I set my main tone to say "You've got VOICEMAIL".

I set my text sound from that app menu.

And each email program let's you set individual ringtones from each menu.
