Help Notification stuck in status bar.

Hi sorry if this has been asked before tried search didn't seem to find an answer.
I got a txt while in the messaging app (stock with 2.0) and now its stuck in the notifications.

If you click on it i just get the reply option, clearing makes it go away until you write another msg and it comes back.

Any help appreciated.

rebooting your phone usually makes those go away.

YES I HATE THIS! I had this when I was stock, my friend spammed me about 300 text messages saying the same thing just to piss me off. It basically got stuck on my notifications no matter how many times I cleared it. I had to reset my droid to get rid of it.
