Notifications not pulling down?

Today my Notifications window won't pull down. Anybody else run into this problem?

Only when its in my leather'ish case, can't get me finger high enough to tug it down.

hmm, no case on mine. Going through the menu to open the Notifications window didn't work either. Cycling the phone off and back on fixed it, but I'm still wondering why it would do that in the first place.
