I have the original Motorola Droid Razr and just updated to the following:
Android 4.1.2
System Version 98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US
Since updating, my notifications (except phone calls) have stopped working. I get nothing in the notification bar for text messages or e-mails. nor do I get an LED light, vibration or sound played. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling gmail and Handcent (although I stopped using Handcent altogether) and the problem still persists, even with the stock messaging app. I attempted finding the text sounds I used to make sure it works, which it does; however, when testing it within Handcent, nothing happened.
Help! I keep missing messages because it doesn't alert me in any way that I've received any
