Help Notifications not working

I have the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. All my three Apps notifications were working - Messages, Email and Whatsapp. Now I have none of the three working. I checked the setting and all are turned on, I download the manual and went through the notification guide and verify the settings. I don't know what I am doing wrong they are still not showing when I get text or email or message from whatsapp. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Just a thought. After installing the last Samsung updates, I was not getting text notifications but it's fixed now! I tried all of the suggestions on here and none worked except one: uninstalling CM Security. If you have it, try uninstalling it. This did it for me. I am SOOOOO relieved! Good luck! Yep, sounds like you have an app that is preventing notifications.
