Help Notifications seem wacky

I used to get notified of score Changes using yahoo live scores but not anymore. I still get my gmail and hotmail notifications. Any ideas?

I am not familiar with yahoo live scores but i've used yahoo mail awhile back and it seems like Yahoo's notification system in general is wonky.

Yahoo updates when it feels like even if you have it set to notify you after a certain period of time
