Notifications

I had a notification appears, stating something about passwords, there was an image of someone's face besides it. When I clicked on it the message dissappeared and I am not sure why I had this message or even what it was about. I am now a little worried some one has hacked my phone/accounts..

how do I check my notifications to see what had popped up..

Can some one shed some light on this and to why android phones force the message to dissappear..

That could be coming from your texts, Facebook app, Google +. Start looking at some of those if you use them. Text would be easy to find. Do you have photos in your contacts? That's maybe what you saw.

It could be from an app that you installed. Some apps have an ad notification system that pushes notifications. It's kind of an underhanded way of doing things. Have you installed any new apps before that happened?

You might try using the AirPush Detector App
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/....airpushdetector&feature=search_result#?t=W10.) to see if you have any apps that could be doing this.
