Notifications

Does anyone have trouble receiving some notifications from some apps?
I don't know if it's the buggy software of this phone or buggy apps.
Some times I don't get notifications for my texts from hangouts.

I sometimes have an issue where apps will 'restart' which sometimes makes the notification bar entries for them disappear (this most notably happens with GSAM battery monitor) however it usually comes back after it restarts. I THINK this has to do with low RAM but I'm not sure. I'm not sure about if an apps' push notifications would come back, GSAM has a persistent notification bar entry. Check your 'running apps' and see if Hangouts is ever in 'restarting' status.

Sometimes I get a notification sound with no notification... Although it hasn't happened in a while. Maybe I uninstalled the app that was doing it.

Yes, sometimes I don't get text notifications, although the text itself comes through. It happens both with the stock app and Chomp. So far it's very sporadic and I haven't found any rhyme or reason to it.

Will I found one reason as to why even though I'm running lighter memory apps my apps would still close and idk if this might fix my problems with my notifications, but my phone was low on internal memory so I moved a bunch of apps to my SD card and it's been running smoother so far.
