Nougat on VM tonight!

I looked around and didn't see anything... I hope I didn't miss a thread. I was away from my phone for a bit tonight, and when I came back I noticed that some of the LG apps had updated. I figured I'd just try a manual update check... and got Nougat!

Just finished upgrading. I really like the tweaks to design, and performance seems fine. However, over half my apps were deleted in the process, including Tapatalk and Yahoo Mail... and I had to download the App Drawer update again. Let the updater beware.
 
I got the stylo through boostmobile and got the update also. Mini view and dual screen is on by default. Seems like you can use more apps in dual view also. Not too crazy about the black and white pull down menu tho. However we got 7.0 on a prepaid phone. I had a warp elite before I upgraded to the Stylo 2. The warp elite people are still stuck on lollipop....

Yep got it this morning. No problems everything still installed. System UI Tuner is still unavailable for this phone. LG disabled it i think.
 
Has anyone else had issues during/after the update? My apps seem to keep disappearing and reappearing. Last night I went to check voicemail after a call and realized it wasn't there any more, when I'm fairly certain it was right after the update. A couple of restarts made it show up again, along with few other apps that had been missing, but now others are gone.

Siince my voicemail came back with all its settings and saved messages, I assume it was never really gone to begin with, but I couldn't access it in any way, so it may as well have been.

It's always best whenever a major update for a new android version comes out is to wipe the phone clean and start fresh with no old data. Always start fresh to prevent bugs like that.
 
I had no problems with the update. never had to reset or anything. Adoptable storage not available but that is ok.

update: One thing i have noticed is that the notification and alarm sounds seem to be a little bit lower than before.

I never received this update. What gives?
 
Hello, I want to update to android 7.0 currently running 6.1.2. I have the T-Mobile LG stylo 2 plus. I have it rooted via TWRP/boot loader. My problem is I cannot update. Does anybody know where I can find a zip file for 7.0 for this phone so I can flash it in twrp? Or ant other custom rims?

Well damn. So rooting make it so you cannot update android? Hmm. Maybe ill convert back to stock. Do you know where I can get the 7.0 rom?
 
U got the update on ur phone for install all ready if so u can go to play store get the ota snatcher to get it downloaded in zip so u can flash it with twrp in theory
