Nougat?

Hey guys? How likely is it that the Pro will be getting a Nougat update?


I don't know much about ZTE but love the Pro. Heard that ZTE is pretty bad with updates but given that this phone just came out I'm assuming it's not too much of a stretch in hoping for an update. I would love split screen mode on this 6 inch phone.

I have a good feeling it won't be left out. This is an amazing device however, I wouldn't know because I've never been with ZTE. Also it'd take a good time to get an update to Nougat unless we get root and developers to work on CM14.

Was beta testing 7 on my Nexus 6, and wasn't all that impressed...was buggier than usual betas through El Goog, so I'm in no hurry.

If we get root, we should be able to enable windowed mode even on Marshmallow, isn't it just a build.prop edit?

I believe so. The only difference is that it was on experimental stage during Marshmallow so you know some apps will act weird.

ZTE doesn't have a good history of updating their phones with newer OS releases. But, I think there's a good possibility that we'll see a major OS update on this phone. I believe that ZTE is trying to change their image for the better and Google is trying to work on their image regarding Android fragmentation.

It may take a while, but I think we'll see an update.

Its a bit rough around the edges in marshmallow. I'd rather used the finished product although ill take what i can get
