Help Nova Launcher/Tesla Unread not working with Gmail?

This only just started happening recently, but I no longer get a badge notification on the Gmail app when I have new email. It still seems to work for other apps.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Check your notifications within the Gmail permissions

Hmm, turning the inbox toggles off and back on may have fixed it. I see a badge now. I'll see if it keeps working now.
