I was given a SF for Christmas but have no experience of smartphones until now. I know that there is a built-in device which allows the phone to be on 24/7 but which renders everything quiet overnight or during set times - how can i find and set it please?

I'm not sure if there is a built in app. But there are many PROFILE apps you can download from the market. Like 'Setting Profiles' or 'Profile Valet' to name just 2 off many.
