I'm curious as to why you have to sell everything you own, our so it seems, just to get an iphone?
cults require you get rid of your past life...and all material things...

^lol
(does seem a little extreme, *shrug*)
You don't need root for screen shots but annoyingly you do need a usb connection to a pc with either the android sdk or my phone explorer. You can even take videos of your screen.
On a less facetious note... can you really take a screen shot with 2 buttons out of the box? Or do you have to wait until you plugged it into a computer to get the phone working first?

Mind going into that process for the video?
Turn it on. Press the lock button and the only button on the front at the same time and you have a screenshot.Yeah that is handy I admit. But other than capturing that awkward sms to your mother-in-law caused by iPhone corrections, the rest of the screen shots are the same as everyone else's.
Nah only kidding.

Haha, yea I've read that one. I'll do a two year cycle or sell the old one to put toward the new. I do something like that now.
UPDATE: maps... not nearly as good...
Well, talk about it. What are the differences between iPhone maps and Android?
Well, talk about it. What are the differences between iPhone maps and Android?
- I used to star items and create maps that I'd use frequently online so I could have them on my phone
- No Latitude - I use it to track my fiancee's runs so I know when to pick her up
- Haven't tried voice nav yet, but I'm not hopeful
That's all I've found so far. It gets the job done and everything, but it is much more feature-rich on Android. Still not a deal breaker though.
I didn't think it was. I remember a friend of mine had to stop using it when he went to Apple. I'll just need to use it on my computer I suppose. :\ Ah well.Would Google Navigation be on the iPhone markek?I was under the impression that it's Android specific. I don't think it comes 'preinstalled' on the iPhone like it is on every Android phone. Google Maps Navigation for mobile
This confirms that it doesn't. If you go down to the bottom they show a chart of Google feature and what OS it's on.

Another thing is that I can't seem to get all my calendars to sync. My fiancee shares a calendar with me so we can add to each other's calendars. I don't see hers as a viewable option. I think i found a way, but I haven't tried it yet. Not as easy as add the Google account and get all your info.
Haha, not a bad idea. I think I'll see how well it works when I actually need to use it on the road. As for the calendars, I figured it out. Now I have my fiancee's calendar, mine, and my US Holiday calendar on there.Oh that's pretty smart work around. And for a nav...you'd need to buy one. I don't think there's any that is 'free'...well a good nav like Google Nav
Or keep your Android phone for a nav, lol.
