So he's built his mountain on top of some apartment block in Beijing. Make me think what's the rest of it like.

I know about domestic Chinese building standards, it's not good.

Folks if you're thinking of investing in property in China, be very careful and do your homework first.

Apart what he's stuck on top, the rest of it looks like a typical Chinese city apartment tower. Which means is quality of construction is not very good, expect water leaks and many other problems, and they'll probably pull it down in about 10 years.

Now i could understand if they were fake rocks , but real rocks may be bad for that structure

Well I have to admit not having read the article, it was just the best one picture wise, I heard it on the UK news and they reported some if the rocks at least as being fake and that it was too be torn down within two weeks..... Personally I quite like it and think it's a better look than "stock"!

I just read about that in the LA Times--I thought it looked really cool! But I also thought about all the extra weight it added to the building--probably not the most brilliant idea.
