Root NYTimes APK

So, the NYTimes app is copy-protected. Meaning if you root, it won't show up in the Market (and apparently can't be backed up to an SD card via a file manager on the phone, says my friend with an unrooted EVO).

Anyone happen to know the best way to get their hands on said APK? Considering it's a free application, I don't see the issue or why they chose to go this route...

I have unrevoked root and nytimes installed with no problems from the app store.

Yeah, it works with unrevoked's, but not with toast's full root method. Thus, I can successfully delete bloatware (unlike with unrevoked's method), but cannot access "copy-protected" apps in the market.
