O2 to Orange

Bought my Desire from Carphone warehouse and currently using up old credit on O2 account but switching shortly to Orange. The phone updated with 2.2 when i first got it....but see there are currently problems with Orange's rollout...Whats the deal with my phone....i take it it will stay on 2.2 even if Orange never get 2.2 out??? because it was updated over O2's network

If you got the phone from CPW then it is unbranded and sim free. The Orange 2.2 issues refer to the orange branded handsets that orange supply direct and is nothing you need to worry about. If your device is on 2.2 then it is on 2.2 irrespective of the network you use it on. Just don't rub it in the faces of people with branded handsets ;o)
