Hi Guys. i on o2 and i have full bars but network is either very very slow, i have checked setings all appear ok... anyone have any ideas??

You have full bars on what e g 3g h or h+

Go into Settings>More settings>Mobile Networks> Netork mode and choose WCDMA only so that it does not switch to GPRS.

Yes it will. You basically turned off the slow GPRS connection which 3G / H falls back to when the signal is too weak. So instead of going to GPRS when there is no 3G, its just going to nothing.
