I've just spent a frustrating and ultimately fruitless few days trawling the net, trying to find out where to place .obb files for use with Bluestacks 3 apps. Everyone seems to have their own idea and no one agrees with anyone else! The situation becomes worse when, like me, one has installed Bluestacks other than in the default C: drive.
I've found, by accident, that using File Manager (and the option in System) to transfer file from Windows is not confined just to ,apk files; one can also transfer .obb files (and possibly others, though I haven't checked). As an old (very old!) systems analyst, the thought occurred: if Bluestacks can transfer .obb files, why can't it put them the appropriate place, even if this means moving them back to Windows?
I commend this thought to the developers...
