Odd color patch on screen

Just wondering of anybody can tell me what this odd color patch is and if its fixable. I only bought the phone (second hand) on the 1st of this month but unfortunately it only had a seven day warrenty. Tia

Only just realized it doesn't show on screenshot. Its a semi circle on right side of screen that is great/green in the center and a light pinky colour on the outside

If it's not showing up in the screenshot then it's a physical fault (your actual screen is damaged)
Did you drop it or get it wet?

Nope not dropped it or got wet. Since getting it on 1st Dec I have had it in a case and have been super careful because I annyilated my last phone. The touch screen still works but it is getting worse and covers almost half of my screen now and the part of the screen that falls in the center of the semi circle is becoming hard to see. Is it fixable? And roughly how much am I looking? Tia

Yeah I'd have a look at youtube to see if it's something you wanna attempt by yourself then look on eBay for the parts needed (bit of advice from previous posts: don't stick anything under the display at the bottom right of the display when trying to remove it)
Either that or take it to a shop (send it to sammy if it's still under warranty)
I've no idea of prices sorry but I'm fairly sure it's a hardware issue.
Good luck

Thank you for your replies. Had a look on YouTube and I wouldn't even dare attempt that in fear of damaging my phone even more. Not under warranty (got it from Cash Con and only had seven days warrenty) so looks like I'm stuck with it like this until I can afford to fix it, which I can see being costly. Annoyed to say the least. Thanks for all your help

If I were you I would repair it myself

Me too. I did it on my nexus 7(2013). Went a lot smoother than I thought. Just keep track of where everything goes.
