Help Odd email error?

Hi there,

Recently my mum and I bought two Samsung Galaxy Tabs (mine a 7.0, hers a 10.1).

I was able to set up my own shaw/other emails through the 'Social Hub' app without event (everything went great). However, when I tried to set up her emails on her own tablet, I began experiencing problems.

I created her email account using these settings (advised by another website), which worked:

Incoming:
POP server

Why would you think the emails on her PC would transfer to the Tab? Once you download your email to your email client it's off the server and can't be accessed by any other email program.

I don't know what to tell you about your other problem. Try a factory reset-if all else fails that usually works.

In most email clients, there's an option to leave messages on the server. Maybe you have this ticked on your PC, but your mother doesn't.

If you want to access emails on more than one device, consider IMAP instead of POP3.
