Lurker
Alright. I am unsure when this particular issue began to occur, but it is within the past couple months. What will happen is this: usually whenever I log on to a wi-fi connection (doesn't matter where, as long as it's wi-fi), I will receive a pop-up message in that top bar area that is all in Japanese characters (I'm American). If they are clicked on, they will download. Sometimes a related icon for an app will appear on one of my screens, despite not downloading anything.
I've halfheartedly tried a couple times to see if there was any file somewhere that could be housing these, but there's nothing. I have Lookout Security, but it has never found anything out of the ordinary. Google search didn't render anything useful. I'm kinda clueless on this one. Is this something I should be worried about? Is there a way to get rid of these messages?
