Odd Nova Prime Behavior

[BigRedGonzo]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (Verizon Branded). Yesterday I decided I needed a change and put Nova Prime on the phone and set it up. I seems to be working fine. I have set it as the default launcher. Here is the problem, when I open the Gmail app and then back out back to the launcher, it always returns to the TouchWiz launcher. This doesn't happen with any other app, everything else returns to Nova Prime. Does anybody have any idea where to look to resolve this?

TIA,

Go in settings / apps (or manage apps), find touchwiz, clear defaults
