Hi - our game just went live on last Thursday. Still awaiting for first reviews - I'd love to hear your feedback on the game meanwhile!

Hope you like! Planning to do small updates soon - any feedback will be taken into account!

Description

Odd One Out: Candytilt is physics based puzzle game for Android and iOS devices.

Puzzles in Odd One Out: Candytilt are solved by adding or removing ground to create pathways for the gum balls. The levels rotate based on where you place the ground - try to keep the balance or just bring the whole mess around and let gravity sort the gum balls out. Rotating blades, bubbles, ropes and other objects either aid or hinder you in your attempts to get the odd one out and make every level different.

Features

  • Fresh take on physics based puzzle gameplay
  • 168 levels in 7 worlds including unlockable bonus world
  • 3 star based ranking on each level
  • Various new objects are introduced throughout the game, which modify the game play and puzzles
  • Destructible environment interacting with physics
  • Achievements - OpenFeint (Android) and Game Center (iOS) Particle effects
  • No loading times after initial load
  • Oldschool vibes in soundtrack

Looks sweet! And I typed that without thinking it's a candy based game and realizing it was a pun, but I'm not going to hit backspace at this point, so it's staying.

You also list the Android features above iPhone features. That's rather unusual!

Edit: Oh, and may I suggest possibly making a lite version (with ads and limited levels), because Android gamers prefer to do the whole trial thing. Personally, I like these tilt style games, so I bought it. It will give me something to do during my down time at work tomorrow.

Hi!

Lite version is in the works actually. We are going to release this content limited + Ad based + version during January.

I'd be happy if you can take the time to leave your impression on the game here. We will be fixing some bits in the user interface and improve the tutorial also when we create the lite vresion.

I have to say that it's a bit more interesting than I thought it was going to be. It's similar enough to other games of it's style to not unfamiliar. But it's different enough to not be a clone of something else. It's an interesting mix of balance, timing and strategy. A good casual game. And there looks to be a lot of levels. Definitely worth the $1.
