Help Odd ring sound?

Anyone else get a call, and the ringtone sounds like a weird ring like when the og prepared the sd card? I have a tone set, but sometimes it gives off a ringtone that isn't even listed as a tone option in my phone....if you know what i'm talking about, do you know why it does this?
 
I've had it happen a few times. Not sure what happens to cause it however when I look at my ringtone settings there are none checked when it is occurring.
 
Anyone else starting to have their notification sounds changing to something else and then not play it?
How do I make it stop.. it has happened about 4 times now in the past 2 weeks and it's starting to get annoying since I have to go into my ringtone to fix that, then the email app to change that one then the gmail app and then handcent.
