Odin 3.07

Seems like there is a new version of Odin available.
It slipped under the radar, as it's been up for over 2 months.

Indeed, I used it to return my SGS2 back to stock before selling it. It's slicker and more polished than 1.85 and seems to flash very quickly.

I am in the process of rooting my Samsung using Odin3.
Part of the instructions say to "[FONT=&quot]flash the recovery image to the device"

I have no idea what that means or how it's done.
can someone help.

Ok

There are a couple of ways to root your phone, the prefered method is to flash an insecure or rooted kernel either via ODIN or recovery

To advise you on this we will need to know which firmware you are currently running

I would suggest you also create a new thread concerning your issue and leave this to the ODIN discussion
