Hello guys,, i have a galaxy s4 that hasn't received the kitkat update 4.4.2.. Do u advice me to update it via odin or not?

That's up to you!
I'd give it a fortnight or so, only about half of the devices that are called Samsung Galaxy S4s have updates for them as of now. The roll out of 4.4.2 continues.

I mean is it harmful for the device to update it from odin or not?

Not only is it not harmful but it is safer and more reliable than updating OTA or via Kies.
