Help ODIN - help for a nuby

I have a Galaxy S GT-i1900M that has been updated to Froyo 2.2 (I think that's the latest here in canada). It has some issues like my calendar not hooking up to the calendars in my Google calendar account.

I want to try to give it a factory wipe, but I had a terrible time when I loaded Kies - ended up having to take my computer in. ANyway,I've decided I want to try ODIN, but I'm a little clueless. Where do I find Odin for i9000M, and how does it work? Is it straightforward for a total non-programmer like me?
 
You sure want to use Odin on a I9000M? From what I have heard, I9000M has some bad memory chips that are prone to frying themselves during flashing. It's a hardware issue, so that's no way to avoid it.
