Android Question

Hello,
I have a couple of questions; not about Android in particular but as is a Linux embedded device was hoping for some possible resources?
I have a Dahua HDCVI set top box recorder and am interested in finding about the hardware as well as the OS.
It is running some Linux and wonder what version and what CPU architecture this thing runs on?
